FM Language Program

FM Language Program offers numerous resources for employees to cultivate a more inclusive workplace and thrive in their work environment. Language classes, interpretation, translation, and consultation tools are available for all FM employees. To find out more submit a request or contact FM-DEI@virginia.edu.

In 2023, FM DEI conducted a language survey in conjunction with the UVA Cornerstone Program to obtain greater knowledge of what languages are spoken by our employees at Facilities Management in order to innovate and develop resources and influence equitable communication practices. See the survey results in a dashboard that you can filter to understand what languages are spoken within teams to best guide your communications.
